Crestwood is a school with a lot of opportunity. There are many clubs, sports teams, and activities to participate in. The student body is very diverse, and the teachers are very friendly. Most of the teachers are young (but educated), so this makes students comfortable with the staff. Crestwood also helps prepare each and every single senior for college. We're required to attend senior seminar class, which is a course dedicated to college application and scholarships. Crestwood also hosts university representatives here for onsite admissions and college presentations. This school doesn't have many strict rules applied to students, so we get a little more freedom than we would at any other surrounding district. I find this to be a very good thing, because if a student feels as if they're attending prison daily, they won't have very much motivation to succeed. Some freedom keeps students happy. Overall, Crestwood is a really well established high school.
Review Crestwood High School
Though they aren't the wealthiest school in the area, they have been able to provide their students with various AP classes to prepare them for high school, teachers who genuinely care about helping their students, and many academic opportunities. They have recently received a large sum of money which will help improve their current facilities, available resources, and food. As a student, I also loved the culture and the fact that the students were truly all friends and we had very small instances of bullying.
My experience in Crestwood Highschool has neither been pleasant, nor wonderful. This school contains many positive and teachers willing to help, and others...not so much. While this school attempts to maintain it's positive reputation I can not say the same about the students during break times. I love the pressure some teachers put on us for our future, education, and overall manners as if it was their own and they want to make it as best as possible for the real world. I however would appreciate a change in the attitude of students toward more of a positive aspect.
