Crestwood is a school very much centered in a very strong middle eastern community. Everyone seems to either know or be related to everyone else so the school is very close knit. The teachers really care and go out of their way for the students whether that means hosting AP study session over break or just having someone to talk to on bad days. But by far the best thing about this school is the drama club. Not only do they put on some amazing, award winning shows, they provide a place for everyone to fit in and truly feel like they belong. Which for everyone that has stepped foot in a big school knows that is a very challenging thing to do. Once a charger, always a charger!

The school aggressively pushed for AP testing although students wouldn't perform well. Getting an "A" in the class and getting a 1, the lowest score you can get in AP testing, was very discouraging and confusing. The building is falling apart. I did meet some incredible and inspiring teachers, but overall the administration and the quality of the building were poor
Crestwood is a school with a lot of opportunity. There are many clubs, sports teams, and activities to participate in. The student body is very diverse, and the teachers are very friendly. Most of the teachers are young (but educated), so this makes students comfortable with the staff. Crestwood also helps prepare each and every single senior for college. We're required to attend senior seminar class, which is a course dedicated to college application and scholarships. Crestwood also hosts university representatives here for onsite admissions and college presentations. This school doesn't have many strict rules applied to students, so we get a little more freedom than we would at any other surrounding district. I find this to be a very good thing, because if a student feels as if they're attending prison daily, they won't have very much motivation to succeed. Some freedom keeps students happy. Overall, Crestwood is a really well established high school.
