My high school experience was bumpy before going to Crestview. The teachers are engaging and really try to make a personal connection with their students and they will specifically reach out to the struggling students to see if there is anything that can be done and do all that they can to make sure that the students succeed and are comfortable once graduation comes around to either feel comfortable in the real world, or to feel ready to pursue a higher education.

I feel like this school picked me up and got me back on my feet. I'm a bright person who was just uninspired and unmotivated with school and as much as I wanted to succeed I felt like I was always in my own way, and Crestview changed that in me and helped me to power through it and do my best and get my diploma. There was also so much help regarding higher education and what was necessary and how scholarships really worked and helped the world out there seem less daunting and intimidating and made me feel prepared for life beyond high school.
There are only three clubs that anyone can freely join. The other one on the other hand, you have to be inducted. The same people are all the clubs, so there isn't a variety of people to work with. Funding for my school is very limited and used where its needed and not towards clubs. If the clubs would like to do something that requires money, personal or school-wide fundraisers are held. I am lead editor of the school newspaper, president of National Honor Society, and vice president of Student Government. The only club I do not participate in would be a newly founded club called "The Knerd Club" where people who favor games and movie series gather. My favorite club would have to be National Honor Society. I have been in charge of promoting and running the blood drives for the past three years. Being apart of this society allows me to grow as a person and learn everything from responsibility to time management.
