I have enjoyed my experience over the last four years at Crest High. I have made some lifetime friends. My involvement in sports has been a great experience. I have played varsity soccer and baseball. The baseball team has been a very successful. It has lead me to getting an athletic scholarship at Queens University at Charlotte. I would like to add more school spirit. I would like to have more pep rallies, dances, bon fires, and anything to help promote more school spirit. Also, I would have the school offer more college classes from Cleveland Community College, and offer more hybrid classes. Lastly, the school cafeteria food needs to improve. Better taste and more choices would be a good start to improving cafeteria.

My experience at Crest has been good. I have had good teachers for the most part. My grades are in good standing. At Crest there is a hour lunch period called Charger Corral. It gives the students time to catch on missed assignments, do homework, and relax with friends. Clubs also have meetings during this time so no one has to stay after school. I would like to see more of an equal balance between sports and academics. The majority of the time sports are valued higher than academics and I think if the administration cared more about our academics then the students would too.
Crest High School provides what many would call a "classic high school experience." If there was one thing that really defined Crest, it would most likely be football. If the football team happens to be good that year everyone, and I mean everyone, goes to at least one game during the year. None of the other sports, clubs, or activities seem to get as much attention as football does. I wish there were more academic clubs to get involved with like a math club or debate team. The Science Olympiad team has improved recently, actually placing well in the Regional tournament. If you play an instrument, both the Band and Orchestra directors are very passionate about teaching. They can be a little harsh at times, but it shows they really care about the group doing well. All in all Crest is a pretty average high school and I had a wonderful experience going there for four years.
