There were so many unique courses that the school offers that I had considerable difficulty in fitting everything that I wanted to take. There are countless honors courses and AP classes that students can partake that can academically challenge and thus foster growth. There are also cohort programs ranging from those relating to engineering, business, law, and medicine. Being involved in these cohort groups may further allow students to explore their academic interest and potential career paths for the future.
Crean is also a Lutheran based Christian school that strives for excellence in academics through Jesus Christ. If you want your child to be a well rounded individual who has a positive influence on his community through his/her well developed understanding of love in Christ, enroll him/her at Crean!

As a student at Crean Lutheran, I have enjoyed my time here. The academics are top notch and there are lots of courses to choose from. The staff and teachers are also super friendly and are great people! I also love the clubs offered on campus and how they promote people starting up their own clubs. Our student body or ASB is outstanding as im currently a part of it and have loved planning events and getting our student body involved with events, games, and other activities that go on on campus. As a member of the Swim and Water Polo teams, I have loved being a part of these teams and bonding with my teammates and coaches. The only major issue I have is how our Aquatics programs never gets proper funding. Even after promising a pool years prior, we still do not have one and have to use a pool that is 20+ minutes away from the campus.
Junior Review: There have been parts that I love and parts that I strongly dislike about Crean. To begin, the education is amazing and the teachers are really great. Each teacher has office hours and is always open to helping you however you need to get you to understand the material. Crean Lutheran fosters a community which encourages learning and community. If you go to crean, JOIN A COHORT. This in my opinion is the best part of the school. Each cohort is amazing in their own way, and my cohort (law) has shaped me into a person with more complex understanding of myself and the world around me. For the things I dislike, the administration treats people differently. People on certain athletic teams can pretty much leave class whenever, wear whatever they want, and not get in trouble for it, where the rest of us immediately face consequences. There is a lot of racism that I have seen by the students at the school. Some teachers spread their political opinions with no regard to others.
