I heard that Crayton was a good middle school upon moving into the area. I became concerned and quickly noticed that a student in Honors/AAP has a very different experience than a student who is grade level. There are fights, classroom management can be problematic, teacher -home communication is lacking. Teachers admitted that they did not use communication tools provided because they constantly change. If you are trying to help a 6th grader who needs guidance in the development of good study habits this is a big hinderance. Teacher response to email was varied - from great response from one to no response from some. We ended up leaving Crayton for a private school. Tough decision and a financial sacrifice but we felt it was necessary. He is a grade level well behaved child who was getting overlooked and underserved.

Crayton middle school is fine. I am a student there. I’d say that the diversity is pretty good and so is some of the staff. There’s a ton of fights though so yeah. I guess the administration is good. The food however is terrible and really disgusting.
All schools are unique in their own why, this build is kept clean. I've over heard that their were insects and such at the other middle school, this middle school really gave me a heads up on life. The hallway administrators really are strict about going to class but they really just want the best for you.
