My Junior year, my mother and I literally moved cities in order for me to transfer to this high school. Every teacher I've encountered here has a very unique personality and is personally invested in their students' education, which makes my classes very engaging. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and I can challenge myself by taking heavier course loads. While the specified block programs in the school of BIS are not for everyone, I enjoy my block because of my interest in business. Additionally, the sports and coaching have been amazing in my experience as a cross country athlete. We have one of the strongest cross country programs in the nation, and I love the team dynamic.

I have had a great time at Crater School of BIS. I was welcomed with open arms. Everyone there is polite, welcoming, and generous. I have made amazing friends. The teachers are amazing and I have become close with them. My favorite part is that during your junior and senior year you get the opportunity to learn how to get a job, apply for college and prepare for adult life. What I wish could change is more AP classes opportunities.
I have had a wonderful experience here. My courses have been challenging yet fun and entertaining to get me interested in the subject. Some of my classes have felt like college courses, which is great for preparing me for college. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. The one downfall is the limited course list. I feel that the school should add in some more electives for students to choose from, like a basic art class or photography. Other than that, the school has done a wonderful job preparing me for college and I would highly recommend BIS!
