From Cranbrook Schools

For generations, Cranbrook has fostered creative and critical thinking skills in our students while preparing them to excel at the colleges of their dreams and in life beyond. Now more than ever, universities and employers understand what we have always known: an education that develops this kind of thinking is what leads to success. It is no surprise to us that so many of our alumni credit Cranbrook as one of the single biggest factors in their success and happiness in life, and that so many of them have gone on to shape the world in so many ways. Cranbrook is more than the opportunity for a great education. It is an opportunity for a great future. At Cranbrook Schools, we offer opportunity that lasts a lifetime.

This school has a great environment that fosters learning. Every classroom has a good learning environment: students are attentive, and teachers collaborate and give respect back to the students. However, the culture of Cranbrook needs work. I find that many students are entitled or do not realize the privilege they have even over other students in their class. I have really enjoyed using Cranbrook's facilities and making best friends with students from all over the world. As far as rigor goes, this school is understandably harder than the surrounding public schools: it is a college prep after all. However, students have a choice in their course load to customize it to their limits, and I have found that teachers are always willing to help when approached.

I am a ex student from the school, Cranbrook is more than an exceptional private school it is prestigious. The community is beautiful with everyone coming together. The campus is the most if not on of the most breath taking in the world based off English 1800s building you feel as if you're in England. They're facilities some of the best with a large indoor pool tennis courts ice rink and gyms. Academically the school is great with many going to ivy league schools, and becoming successful later in life the school has many notable alumni including Mitt Romney a senator and presidential candidate. The school is amazing.
I had a great overall experience attending and graduating from Cranbrook, meeting lifelong friends along the way. The teaching staff is very helpful and caring, providing much one on one time with the students as well as always being available for extra help outside of class if needed. The social atmosphere is very accepting- as long as you are open to meeting new people others will be glad to get to know you. The academic curriculum is endlessly thought provoking and certainly conducive to college readiness after graduation. Attending this school has affected the way I think and view the working world around me, provided me with endless resources and friendships, and will always have a special place in my personal timeline as I recognize how it has prepared me for my future endeavors, yet to come.
