Covenant High School Reviews
Rating 4.35 out of 5 40 reviews
Covenant is an excellent choice for a college preparing, God honoring, and community based school. It hosts an impressive faculty who care deeply for the student’s success and all strive for a close knit community. They offer a wide range of classes and the class sizes are small so you can get personalized relationships with the teachers and form tight bonds. Overall my experience at covenant was a delightful experience that brought me closer to God and challenged me to achieve excellence in my studies. I highly recommend Covenant high school for any high schooler wanting a higher standard of education.
Covenant high school is not what is seems. I go there, and it has been a very bad experience for me. The classes are extremely cliquey and it's impossible to be close to everyone, even though the average class size is 20 or less kids. They are accepting of you only if you follow their overly conservative and unfair rules that keep you from expressing yourself. There are no sports, very few clubs, and the teachers pick favorites. Covenant preaches about unity and caring for one another, yet I do not feel fully comfortable to be myself or feel accepted in the environment. One of the only plus sides to this school is the academics that are very collage preparatory. (although I constantly feel like I'm drowning in work) I would not recommend this school to most people. It's a very hard place to fit in, and my mental health has never been worse than since I started there. Try it out for yourself and see how "amazing" and "happy" this school really is.
Covenant High school provides a well rounded classical education. Classes are Christ centered, and there is good Christian fellowship. Teachers are flexible, and want the best for each student.
