Covenant Day school is an exceptional k-12 Christ centered school. The teachers in lower, middle and high school are very dedicated and spiritually grounded. The curriculum is very rigorous and may not be the right fit for every child , it thoroughly prepares the student for college. For a small school, the students are afforded exceptional opportunities to serve others such as helping the Haitian people grow plants through an Swuaponics system, building tiny houses for those in need and learning hands on skills such as building a car. All classes are taught through a biblical worldview lens. I can not say enough good things about this school. It is the hidden gem of Charlotte. One of the lowest tuition rates with an excellent college prep Christian classical curriculum.

I have loved this school. This is my fifth year in attendance, and I made the switch from another private Christian school during eighth grade. The teachers make a notable effort to understand what's going on in the lives of their students, and the academic resources team and guidance counselors are helpful with college searches and testing. I usually feel heard by the administration when I disagree with a policy or wish to know why we operate the way we do. In general, the student body is close-knit yet welcoming to new students, doing a great job of including transfer students and international students in grade activities and friends groups. As a smaller school (with only 70-90 students in each high school class), Covenant Day is a great place to receive a great, personally tailored education while still teaching students about Jesus and studying the Bible on a daily basis.
I started attending Covenant Day School in 6th grade after moving to North Carolina from Florida. Aside from the excellent academics, high level sports, and college readiness, the atmosphere and culture of the school is one of the most special aspects of Covenant Day School. I was immediately welcomed and the students and faculty were intentional about getting me involved and making me feel like family. It helped me transition into middle and high school smoothly.
