Covenant Christian School’s motto is “cultivating wise servant-leaders.” Although academics are very important at the school, faith comes first. Throughout all of the classes, the teachers will make references to the Bible, pray, and leave some time for discussion. Covenant is a great school to strengthen a student’s faith in God. I love the Bible classes and weekly chapel services. Also, Covenant has a loving atmosphere. If I could change something about Covenant, it would be their resources. The buildings are not very nice and they do not have a lot of opportunities for the students.

After attending here for all of Junior High and High School, I felt very well prepared for college and the "real world." I got into several of my top-choice colleges and have found my workload in college courses to be comparable to that of the APs I took at Covenant. There's a great variety of extracurriculars and most of the sports teams are pretty good. The school's best asset is its teachers and its biblical focus. The teachers are top notch and genuinely care about every student; you can tell that most of them put in a lot of effort to help you succeed. The biblical focus is huge. I felt like the school was able to balance the fine line between legalism and too much license. I've appreciated the biblical courses more after graduation; the Bible classes and teachers are fantastic.
Covenant is a classical school and bases its curriculum on the Trivium (grammar, logic, and rhetoric). Graduates of classical schools are well prepared for life, which includes college and career prep. Covenant puts a strong emphasis on leadership development and cultivation of culture changers. The staff and curriculum are excellent and challenging. There is an important emphasis on Biblical integration in all subjects.
