Covenant is a private, college-preparatory high school where the main focus is to direct students toward a life of educational success through a Christian worldview. The faculty and staff at Covenant strive to nurture students through their roles and fulfill their responsibilities out of love for the students. The teachers are one of the most significant and unique aspects of the Covenant experience because of their willingness to connect with students on a personal level and their enthusiasm for ensuring that each student develops a desire to continue learning and to continue forming their own beliefs even after high school, is what defines the priorities of the teachers. Additionally, Covenant is renowned for its standards of academic excellence. Students are encouraged both within as well as outside of the classroom to rise to scholastic challenges and strive for being prepared for college.

Covenant has taught me to learn to think for myself. Before attending Covenant, I generally accepted everything that my parents and teachers said as good and right. I didn't think about things on my own and come to my own conclusions; I was dependent on others. The teachers at Covenant lead students to their own personal conclusions by asking deep questions about how the subject they are studying relates to their life, others' lives, and current society. Teachers understand that they are not at the school to teach their opinion or what they think is right, but that they are there to teach the students the facts and guide them to their own conclusions, even if that means the student may disagree with the teacher. After my time at Covenant, I feel prepared to enter the real world. Though I value their input, I am no longer dependent on my parents or teachers– I am ready to learn and create my own worldview using the resources they have provided.
Covenant Christian High School was the best decision for me as a transfer student. They hold Christian values with the utmost importance, yet they also have top notch academics. They believe that in order to properly honor God in academics, it must be done with excellency. They balance academic load with extracurricular involvement well, and encourage students to be involved in numerous activities so they may grow as a person outside of the classroom. Teachers and staff are incredibly knowledgable and go above and beyond for their students.
