Some of the teachers are great, but others lack. The administration is poor, and not many people actually like or care about the principle and/or the superintendent. They offer college credits for either free or a discounted price, but only in certain classes. In classes such as English, we've had 3 different English teachers in the past 5 years or so. Cove is also in between a permanent superintendent, and there's a lack of administration because of it. Personally, I would like better academics to be inserted into the school, and would like applicable assignments that have real meaning and can matter in certain classes. In my opinion, at Cove Charter School many of the students are a bit neglected and endure a low grade point average that could be higher if they were pushed to apply themselves. Again, I'd like to state that not all the teachers there are bad, many are very nice and are great teachers, but a small amount of them poorly represent what Cove Charter School should be.

I loved the supportive and friendly community the staff created for the students. All the off the facility where supportive and willing to help anytime.
I transferred here because my previous high school wasn't working for me. Cove has been a much more accepting place where I have been able to succeed in ways I never could have at my old school. The small size is perfect for my introverted personality and I enjoy the more one on one contact with the teachers. If I could do it over, I would start high school here instead of just my last year and half.
