I graduated from CMCS around a year ago, and I absolutely loved my experience there. During my 8 years there, I very rarely encountered a student who was unkind or unhelpful, and I never had a bad teacher. Although it is certainly not a "traditional" elementary or middle school experience, CMCS allowed me to grow as a person, learn everything I needed and more, and make friends who will last me a lifetime.
We love everything about CMCS! The new principal is amazing, and if you’re looking for school with a focus on community, inclusivity....you’ll find it here. It feels like a family, and I love that our kids have a focus on how their actions affect others, and an inclusive worldview from such a young age. CMCS fosters independent, self motivated learners. Each child gets an individualized education, as well as group instruction. If you’ve researched and understand what a Montessori education is, and these philosophies are a good fit for your family, you’ll love it here.
There are not enough good things to stay about this school and teachers and staff who have become part of our family. The attention that our children get is beyond measure. I cannot imagine another school for my children.
