If you're in to sports, CHS is a great place to play them at. No try-outs, and they are a lot of fun! Since our school had to do distance learning this year, it was a little stressful for the staff (my mom's a teacher). However, they did a great job adapting to it. Although school was harder, the teachers did a great job putting the whole thing together. The teachers here work their tails off for students. We are working our way up to be the best small school in the state, and so far (after our goal was set at the beginning of last year), our test scores are moving up! Unfortunately, we are on a 4-day week, and that does affect learning. Also, although sports are fun, the coaches don't allow the players to have much time with their family, and that's not okay. If I'm playing sports, I typically get home around 7:15-7:30 on a school night, with homework left to do. I don't like that. However, CHS is mostly a great school to be a part of!

Council High School is a pretty good school to go to academically. The teachers are very good at what they do and are always willing to give extra help to their students. However, there are not very many opportunities to have very hands-on experiences.
I liked that I was able to recieve one on one help from all the teachers because of small class size. I would like to see class options increase.
