My three children all graduated from Cotter High School. They were able to try many explore their many interests. The teachers and staff were so supportive of all of my kids. They knew when to challenge them, and when to spend the time to make sure they understood the subject matter in each class.
The arts, academics and athletics are spot on in this school!
As a non-Christian, and a member of the LGBTQ community, I found myself feeling as if I weren't as important as a student as the kid next to me. Additionally, the school certainly has a preference for students that have money or are in a high socioeconomic status. These students often receive special treatment from the teachers and school administration. I found the classwork decent, but it is not for those who struggle with school or learning disabilities, as I have overheard school administration bashing these students and calling them incompetent.
