I love how our school is so small compared to other high schools. This allows students to form more meaningful connections with fellow classmates, teachers, and faculty. With a smaller population, everyone is able to form bonds with one another, thus a close-knit community is built. We also have an abundance of resources that are available to the students. I am beyond grateful for all the resources the school has provided for the students, whether it be volunteer opportunities or scholarship workshops.

New middle school with new technology-orientated programs. It is good school especially for the arts as well such as choir, ceramics, digital art, band, theatre, guitar and even music technology. Although academics are average, the AP courses available are taught by smart and capable teachers. Resources aren't in the open but asking around in the college and career center goes a long way. Sports are average except for the cheerleading program which has been rated nationally and the track and water polo have CIF potential.
Being a graduate from Costa Mesa High within 2008-2012, the school has many opportunities for the student to achieve their goal and dreams. Many programs are welcomed in the high school with ROP being down the corner and some ROP classes offered in high school. In my years, I was able to learn a lot more than just regular high school material but also learn about health, economics, and how the outside world works with government. With some changes that the campus went through, like merging with the middle school, building their own football field, and finally having a bigger arts theater brings more students and parents to Costa Mesa High and brings a motivation for students to make a diffference as a teenager. With the new art building, it will bring parents and new families into the school and bring attention to the city to show what Costa Mesa High can bring and how the students can make a difference in our community and achieve their dreams.
