Corry Area High School is nothing extraordinary at first glance, but during my time I noticed how great the teachers were. They truly cared about teaching the students and driving us to be the best we can be. I feel very well prepared for college classes thanks to the great math and ELA teachers.
There were also lots of friendly students, and the school always offered new classes every year. The school itself was well maintained.
Not all was perfect, though. One thing I would like to see changed is a way for students to get more hands on experience with different careers. Apart from industrial careers like welding, automotive, and similar classes, I didn't have access to classes or guest speakers that would help me choose a career.

I loved the small town feeling of my high school. Almost everyone knew and trusted one another. Our football games were always packed with supporters and parents always helped with anything they could. Another good thing is that we had a tech hallway built right into the school, so we didn't have to travel to our tech classes every day. If I could change one thing about Corry High School it would be the lack of diversity. We had very few exchange students and our school was primarily white. I would have liked to see more diversity in high school.
My school helped me get the education I needed to prepare me for going on into college. I was able to take classes that will help me in the future with the career choice I want to follow. My school also helped me learn different tasks that will help me after college too such as a cooking, sewing, and real life class. I think that my school helped me better prepare for the future. I do not think I would change very much about my school because it has shaped me to be the person I am today.
