The staff is very understanding and appreciative of the students. They strive to make Corona the best place for all. Corona includes all ethnicities and sexualities and does not discriminate. Teachers are very good as well and prepare you for college. Many courses are offered here including AP and dual enrollment courses. A variety of clubs are offered too. All our extracurricular activities are phenomenal. Athletics Departments is also very good. Overall, I highly recommend Corona to other students. However, because so many students attend the school, the student to teacher ratio rate is about 30:1 so you don’t get as much attention as you would in a smaller, more intimate class.

Corona was honestly a very average school. The teachers are a mix of great and bleh. The academics are only challenging if you choose the very hardest classes. Administration is weirdly strict about the randomest things. Socially, it is very clique-y. Students very much stay with their own groups. There is a lot of school pride when football is concerned, even though the team isn't very good, but not really anytime else. There are opportunities to get involved but you really have to commit to searching things out. The counselors offer hardly any help on planning so prepare to handle all of your academic choices and college search, applications, etc by yourself. If you go here, getting involved with clubs or classes that you genuinely care about is the best way to get through.
Overall, any high school that you attend is going to be a similar experience because high school is high school. The only manipulated factors are going to be the faculty, student population, and the activities and clubs available to the students. IN my scenario, at Corona del Sol, I am in a very healthy environment in terms of growth. I am given all I need to expand my knowledge to the degree I want to, and also get support in and outside of the classroom. My school also has a great number of D1 sports teams and amazing student run clubs and activities. The only thing that makes it average is our diversity is an ideal percentage. The majority of our student are white which makes it more difficult for minority students to feel accepted and supported. Although Corona does an amazing job of balancing that feeling, there is only so much they can do. On the other hand, Corona is very safe school and faculty goes above and beyond making sure their students feel safe on campus.
