The teachers care so much about the students and ensure that they graduate with resources and opportunities post- graduation. The counselors make sure students apply to at least 3 colleges a month starting at the beginning if their senior year. The principal has set up internships with Beaumont,Lear, and manufacturing companies to allow students to be prepared for after graduation and maybe obtain a job with these companies after the internship is completed.

Cornerstone Health and Technology prepared me for life beyond high school by helping me become resilient, having interview skills, and having great communication skills. In 10th grade, I had a personal development class where I learned my elevator speech and learn how I should conduct myself in an interview. In 11th grade I had the pleasure of meeting, who interviewed me for the internship at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. This giving me the chance to interact with different people and helping me learn how to behavior in a hospital.
What i like about Cornerstone is how no matter what you wanted to do after high school, and no matter what some student might have thought, the staff were always trying to make sure we actually were enrolling in colleges or would secure a job after high school if we didn't want to go to college. They tried to make sure there was something out there for the student even if we weren't going to college. What I wish could change is that the teachers hired were more efficient and stable teachers, and what I mean by that is the students should not have a teacher that is gone for weeks or months without being taught and not being able to have a grade for a certain class.
