Most of the teachers at Cornell High School go above and beyond to insure that their students are safe, educated and have what they need. Those teachers have helped out students after house fires, medical emergencies and much more. They also will stay after school if you need help on anything or just need to talk. They are very approachable and personable. They also volunteer their time to help students with clubs, or to raise money for things the students need to fund for. They have spent countless hours working concession stands with our students to help them achieve their goals.

Although Cornell is a very small school, there are certain perks that come with it. The students have a better chance of actually getting to know and talk to their teachers about subjects and such to do better in class or make up work. Unfortunately, there are some restrictions or limitations that come with Cornell. There are very little clubs for students to join and expressing ourselves is hard to come by .
I personally have been attending Cornell since I was in Kindergarten, so I have many great memories here. Some of the best experiences I have had here was during fundraising times. The first one was when on of my fellow students collapsed in gym from a rare heart condition that was gone undetected by his physician. He was put in the hospital with a comma and our whole school came together to raise money for his family. His family own their own restaurant and that is their only income so it was difficult for them because they couldn't work for weeks. We then raised over $1000 in our small school and sent it to the family along with other gifts that we made for him. It was a great time for our school to come together and help one of our own.
