As soon as you meet the headmaster you’ll know that this school is all about caring and providing for the individual needs of every student. She takes time to personally get to know each family and wants feedback. She was head of the USF education honors department at USF and knows all about training teachers, brain-based learning, gifted education and is always expanding her knowledge and that of her staff. Kids come first here. It’s not about fancy facilities to wow visitors, which many expensive private schools aim for and miss the mark. Those schools are more for show and less about the student. Corbett is about educating the whole child and mindfulness is taught in every grade as well. They are doing it right.

I've always said that I want to work at a school that I can be proud of and Corbett Prep has made me proud over and over again. The campus is second-to-none and really needs to be seen to be believed. The buildings are situated around a pond and we are next to Lake Lipsey. When you walk around the campus, you feel like you've been transported to a nature preserve or a national park. The teachers are truly some of the most talented, compassionate, and hardworking teachers I know. And I've known a lot! I'm so proud of them and how committed they are to our students. Students graduate from 8th Grade at Corbett Prep with such a unique skill set, ready to take on the challenges of high school (and of life!) confidently and with courage.
