I really like my school a lot, my teachers are great, always looking to help us out.
I play football and my team and coaches are great.
I am a Theater student and my classes are very challenging but fun.
I think is one of the best high schools in our district with lots of activities, lots of clubs and sports.
My college interests are in international business and also performing arts and will like to be able to apply for scholarships, so I can be allowed to attend an affordable college.
Coral Reef is always guiding us to make good choices and their counselors are always available to meet with us and explore all college options and careers with us.
My school is probably the best one at communicating and promoting college experience and they offer college trips every year. I’m really looking forward to going on a college trip next year when I’m a Junior and explore all the opportunities available for me. My school also offers to take Practice SAT tests, so we can improve our scores.

Coral Reef Senior High School is the best school in South Florida. The faculty and staff ensures that their students are in a safe environment at all times, and takes the safety of their students seriously. Academically Coral Reef has the best and diverse programs that is catered to every individual students different way of learning. There are many resources provided for the students in order to help them succeed academically which is one of my favorite things. Not only is academics something they support the students at Coral Reef with but they make sure to check on the students mental health. Coral Reef has amazing counselors that provide help to their students whenever they need it, and the administration is one of the most welcoming I know. The best part about Coral Reef is the experience of it all, being apart of a magnet program, learning material that interests you, being in a learning environment that is fun and innovative, and most importantly knowing that you matter!
It’s not terrible here, but not the best either. A big problem is the staff. Most of the staff have some degree of a superiority complex and go absolutely ham with the work. The hallways are always bustling and it’s very loud. The environment is advertised as fun-loving but they don’t really mean it. You can get a detention for existing. It’s just a mess. Teachers don’t seem to care about your life outside of school and don’t let you make any excuses. People are consistently rude or inconsiderate.
HOWEVER, those who are not rude are the best part of this school. The people are unbelievably kind if they aren’t like the others and make you feel like family. The friends I have here are amazing people. The nice teachers absolutely make it worth it.
Overall, this school kind of sucks if you want good grades and a stress-free life. But friends make it worth it.
