Coral Reef Senior is a wonderful learning environment. Due to the large student population it truly feels like a college. The clubs and people are really diverse, and there will definitely be something you are interested in! The academics are extremely competitive, but I feel like this helps for college readiness. The teachers and administration take an active role in preparing students to pass these exams. I have thrived at this school, and it has been an enjoyable experience. From Homecoming Week to the pep rallies the student body clearly has some school spirit. Coral Reef has an open and very accepting atmosphere. Even though we have different academies, we all band together as Cudas! The academies are an excellent way of jumpstarting your career goals and to explore a field you are interested in. I hope to see you around the Reef!
Coral Reef Senior High School is an amazing school devoted to its students' academic achievements and athletic success. It is with great pleasure that I can say Coral Reef Senior High School was the best school that I have ever attended. From the pep rallies and spirit weeks, to the dance performances and basketball games, there was always something to do at Coral Reef. Its rigorous studies challenge students to better themselves and their grade point averages to be the best version of themselves they can be. I loved Coral Reef and would do it all over again if given the chance. Once a cuda, always a cuda!
Coral Reef Senior High is not your average school; it is a mega-magnet school, attracting those with great talents. Among the magnet programs offered at CRHS are Engineering, Agriscience, IB, Business, Medical, and the Visual and Performing Arts Academy(which includes Dance, Orchestra, Band, Choir, Drama, and Art). Because Coral Reef offers such a wide variety of different opportunities, most will find that it is one of the most diverse public schools in the vicinity. Hailing children from all parts of Miami-Dade County public schools, Coral Reef High School is able to integrate students from all different racial, financial, and ethnic backgrounds. It has been true honor to be a part of the CRHS family; bringing color and entertainment to a would-be dreary high school career.
