My overall experience with Coquille High School has been pretty good. The school is not very diverse, ethnically, and does not give the students in the area the diversity needed in the real world. However, the atmosphere in the school is loving and nourishing. The teachers all want you to succeed and are helping you to the best of their ability. My school also offers college classes through Southwestern Oregon Community College that are able to be taken at the high school. This is extremely beneficial to students trying to get ahead. Overall, Coquille High School was a great place to go to school and a good community to grow up in.
The school is a great place for anyone to attend with caring, helpful, teachers that make sure you are where you need to be in the grade book and in day to day activities.
Coquille is a small high school, but very welcoming. The teachers are great about helping you with your work and making sure you are doing well. Some of the things that aren't great about this school is that it does not prepare students well for college. In most classes it is very easy for students to fail every test and still have an A in the class. Some students taking a collage foreign language course can't even speak one sentence of the language and fail everything, but because they can retake it all, they have As and Bs in the class.
