Coppergate Elementary is an excellent school. The teacher are very personable and care about your success. The administrators are very aware of the needs of the district as a whole, as a result, it keeps parents happy and reassures them that their child is in healthy, learning environment. Although it would be nice to have Art, Music, and a Foreign Language class available to enrich the lives of the students, budget cuts, unfortunately, are inevitable. There are, however, clubs and activities that provide students with extra curricular activities after school such as Walk-Run, News Team, and Art Club. Overall, Coppergate Elementary School is a well-run school and would definitely recommend for anyone to join the Coppergate Colt Family.

There's lots of options for extracurricular activities. There's a large and active drama program, NHS, beta club, and other things. I was in a few clubs throughout high school, including the writing club, the drama club, and the national art honors society program. The clubs and organizations sometimes put on events like culture night or volunteer at football games. The best things about our clubs is that the entire school can enjoy and participate in them.
Attendance at the school could be better and dress code (county imposed) is strict and unfair in my opinion. The newly implemented 'tardy hall' where students go if they are late to class is not a good system as it takes already late kids away from learning in class. it doesn't 'teach them a lesson,' it discourages them from getting a good education.
