Copiah is in desperate need for a change. I feel like I have barely learned anything in high school. A lot of the teachers aren’t very good, but there are a few teachers who are absolutely amazing. The administration is awful, and they do nothing about real problems. They don’t care about girls being sexually harassed, bullying, or teachers not teaching. Boys’ shirts not being tucked in, improper wearing of the uniform, and boys’ haircuts are what the administration seems to care about the most. The best program at the school is the band, yet we get the least amount of funding. Football, on the other hand, gets a lot of funding no matter how good or bad they do that year.

Moving from a public school all my life to a private Christian school was a huge difference. People still make fun of me and think I'm not intelligent because of my old school reputation. Luckily, I only have one more year and I'm so excited to graduate!!! Although, I did meet many new friends and many new people at this school. Maybe other people had a better experience but the amount of discrimination In this school was and is excessively high.
Copiah is an outstanding school. You have access to teachers who are very willing to help you, a variety of sports, and college prep classes. The main thing I wish would improve is there is no access to upstairs classes for those who can not reach them. If you are incapable of getting upstairs then you have to sit in the main office during that class period. you have to rely on that teacher and classmates to give you assignments.
