Cooper High School was a surely memorable experience for me. I attended Cooper for the first time my sophomore year and was welcomed with open arms by not only my classmates but the school faculty as well. I was encouraged to join different activities and found myself on the varsity dance team! I could not express enough how deeply grateful I am for the friends I made on this varsity Cooper team. The friends I made have become my forever sisters and greatest memories thanks to the encouragement by CHS faculty to get involved!

Cooper High School provides a computer program that helped me with the career choice that I have always wanted to pursue. The teacher sent up a program at different levels to make it easier for the student to understand and follow. The class offered hands-on projects that students and staff would bring in to the class. The class would also give opportunities in computer certification like Microsoft, cell phone repair, and others. Cooper High School also had a diverse type of stupent whoo got along no matter what social group one was at the school. I was kind of a computer nerd but had friends in football, band, anime club, and ones that were just hanging out. Like all High School, there are always pros and cons but I feel that Copper High School had more pros.
What I most like about Cooper High School was the extra circular groups and the diversity there. Since I was in band and art I felt as though I always had a group of people I could be around. Along with that, there are so many different people that attend this school, with different races, religions, and experiences. Because of that I always felt as though I could learn something new from everyone there. The main thing I would like to see changed would be the facilities. Lots of the bathrooms only have one stall that locks, a few toilets that flush, and a few sinks that work. With around 1,700 students this can often become a problem during passing periods when students have five minutes to go to the next class. Overall however I have enjoyed my experience at Cooper and I'm looking forward to spending my senior year there.
