I think people here are generally very friendly. I don’t find much drama as I did in previous schools, however kids are kids and of course we’ll start stuff. I like the block schedules, however I think our lunches should be longer. It’s only 45 minutes, and I know some people get caught up in the lunch line, which means they only have around 15 or 10 minutes to eat. Another thing about lunch is that around one of the eating areas there are a mess of bricks that were pulled up from the ground, and are honestly very hazardous. I tripped over them and fell today, actually! Also, there are so many ducks and some try attacking you for food. Lunch isn’t that great of an experience and I definitely think it could be improved. Academics are fine, we get a good variety of classes. You won’t like every teacher, of course, but that’s just life. Overall, I enjoy Cooper City High because of the friendly and accepting environment, but I do think some schedule changes are in order!

My experience at Cooper City High School was amazing. The teachers were always very helpful and taught the material in a way everyone could understand. The guidance counselors were incredible. Whenever I needed someone to talk to I always knew where to go for that. The atmosphere is like no other school in Broward county. It is really easy to make friends and to get involved in after school activities. I played Basketball while I attended Cooper City High School and the life lessons that I have learned will carry with me throughout my life. They aim to make you ready for college and they do a superb job in achieving that. I am currently attending FSU and I still refer back to the information that I received way back from freshman year of high school. The cowboys pride is like no other in the county. Honestly, one of the best schools you could send your child. Go cowboys!
Let me start by saying that high school was fun would be an understatement. My home school is South Broward High School, but I am more than grateful for my reassignment to Cooper City High School, for it has exceeded my expectation. Throughout my four years, I have been involved in many extra curricular activities including marching band, National Honors Society, Student Mentor organization, and multicultural club. My school expresses an immense amount of support for our team sports, debate, DECA, band, etc. The Student Government Association has put in an endless amount of effort to make get the student body involved in activities such as spirit week, memorials for tragic events, homecoming, pro, etc. Every student is provided with resources making it more than possible to succeed. Teachers have impacted students here, pushing them to work hard and challenge themselves. I have been given opportunities to that I could only dream of.
