Coon Rapids High School is a place that makes it known that they are a family. Every student, staff, or even parent/ guardian is apart of the cardinal nation family. Being apart of cardinal nation means more than just wearing a t-shirt to support the school, it is being apart of something greater than just a person. Cardinal Nation is being involved and always having a place. As a student at Coon Rapids High School I can say I am glad I got to experience high school here. The teachers here make their students feel comfortable in and outside of the classroom. Coon Rapids High School has classes that fit any student needs and wants, art classes, auto mechanics, Bio-Med, and even an engineering program. Coon Rapids High School brings together hundreds of students to prepare them for life after High School.

Being able to go through Coon Rapids High School for all four of my high school experience has been some of the best parts of my life. One thing that makes this school unique is our Biomedical program. This program has greatly molded my future and has helped me in figuring out my interest. My school offers a variety of resources for students and I almost never feel lost when I face a particular challenge. This school is always looking for ways to identify problems within the student body and find ways to improve them. Unfourtubtly, one thing that I have found to be rather bothersome at this school is the food. I have had such bad experiences with my school lunch that I no longer eat it. Nonetheless, this is not a deal-breaker. My school has created an amazing culture and I am so proud to be a cardinal.
My overall experience was fine. I attended my junior-senior year. I was able to make lasting relationships with some of my classmates, teachers, and the faculty. There is a hierarchy in the school from what I witnessed. Athletes seemed to get favoritism. The “popular” kids lived in their own world or fakeness and self-absorption. The cafeteria food was bearable. Only thing I really enjoyed was the multicultural show that was put on each year towards the end of the semester.
