I have attended Coolidge High School all four years, with just about everything being acceptable as a student. Students have access to tablets for class and homework, and teachers use Smartboards in the classroom. Some aspects of the school may seem mediocre at times, but many other qualities make up for it. Go Bears!

I Love CHS! I think its better than other local schools. I like the teachers and the admin. They are doing their best to make this school once again the greatest and I'm so grateful for them. The Student Government is great here too. They put on several Spirit Weeks and fun activities. I think they are doing a good job because there are more and more people having school spirit and participating! One thing I do not like is TAP. All of our teachers are evaluated and given instructions on how to teach "better" and given also lessons. The lessons from TAP resemble Elementary School worksheets and are honestly horrible. It's not the teachers fault but I feel that they should be able to teach how they want and not have to put with all of that! Its unfair to them and us! Other than that, I think CHS is continuously growing academically and is going to be a really great school as it once was!
Most of the teachers slack on their grading, and their teaching is poor in style, appeal, and tone. The worst of it all is having a teacher with a thick foreign accent so you can not undertand most of the lesson being presented. Only a few of the teachers actually care about their students education, and strive to better the learning of them, and stay on top of their class work grades and offer help to the students. Sadly most just assign mass amounts of busy work which the teacher relys on to help the student undertsand the lessons opposed to actually teaching the class.
