I have attended Conway schools my whole life. I also have three younger siblings in Conway school district.
The best part about Conway school is the small town vibe. Everyone knows everyone in our town. The teachers thrive to help students because they really care about our future.
The worst part about Conway school is the reading scores. My youngest sister is dyslexic and my parents had to fight to get her the help she needs.
Conway needs more reading interventionist in our district especially in the elementary schools. My plan is to become a special education teacher so I can make a difference in the school I love!

Even though my rating of the school isn't the best, I enjoyed my years at CHS. I think they've got a good variety of courses to select from, such as multiple lab sciences for credits rather than only having biology, chemistry, and physics. CHS has several programs designed to prepare students for a life outside of school. For example, my favorite program was the Teacher Cadet program. I was given the ability to go to a middle school and teach a desired subject. That program specifically helped me choose my path! There are also four-year programs for students who want to progress in Health Science or Agriculture. I think the biggest thing that should be improved about this school is its infrastructure. There's a few safety hazards with a rodent and roach infestation. The food can also be subpar. For example, I opened a juice box and there was mold on the inside of it. Other than that, I believe CHS is a decent school, and I enjoyed my time there!
CHS has been a place for me to look forward to over the last three years. I look forward to seeing my friends, seeing my favorite teachers, and I even look forward to some of my classes. School has never really been something I like, but the environment that CHS has built has made me have a better perspective on it. However, high school hasn’t been easy. The worst part was always the stress and anxiety that I felt throughout the day; whether that be caused by school itself or something personal with the added stress of being a high school student. It’s also very easy to lose motivation surrounding school because of how bad the stress it causes can be sometimes. I think a good change would be for teachers (administration, etc.) to take more consideration of the students and their work loads, as well as how school affects their mental health.
