    Conserve School Reviews

Conserve School was the best academic experience I ever had. Although each semester the student culture has a slightly different vibe, they are all caring and supportive. Conserve becomes a true family-- both out of shared interests and necessity, as it is incredibly isolated. The administration, particularly the headmaster Stefan Anderson, are not strong. Poor attempts at communication, Stefan is notoriously difficult to work with for both staff and students, and teaching fellows are essentially treated as lower class by some. There was no mental health counselor until a student movement staged demonstrations after getting no response. However, most staff there truly care about the students and I have formed some of the most meaningful relationships of my life with people (students and teachers) I met at Conserve. Aside from the administration and the lack of diversity, Conserve School is one of the best opportunities you can get.

I loved every second except for the administration staff. Specifically the head of school. Other than him, I loved all the staff. They are so helpful and kind and easy to talk to if you need anything. I just can’t stress how much I loved being at this school.
Best 4 months of my life! I would highly recommend for any students interested in the environment and the outdoors!
