Every administrator, teacher, and counselor worked with me every step of my journey to college. The school was recently renovated and expanded so the learning atmosphere is pleasant and updated. My best experience was being within the Academy of Health and Science. Dr. Benson, the academy administrator, has not only helped students achieve their goals, but has also paid special attention to the unity of each class. This is important because the high school experience can have a lasting impact on teenagers. The school is stable and comfortable, and allows for individuals to grow in whichever direction they want rather than setting specific expectations.

Overall Conroe High School is a good school. This year the student body president really stepped in and put forth new ways to better involve the entire school in projects. The principle is amazing! He attends every game/meet and is always smiling both in school and out. However, just like every school, Conroe High has its weaknesses. Some administrators would rather discipline than help students and there are few teachers who actively invest in students. Conroe also lacks in preparing students for college. The counselors tell us what our end goal is, but do not take time to explain to students how to get there. If Conroe could just improve these areas slightly it would make a big difference in the lives of students and make kids more excited to go to school. In the end, Conroe High School has treated me well and prepared me for my next steps. I love being a Conroe Tiger!
