Concordia Lutheran High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 211 reviews
I have loved my time at CLHS. I made new friends quickly as a freshman, and still am friends with them as a senior. The teachers are wonderful and very helpful. I have also enjoyed my experience as a golfer. I think my best experience has been volunteering in the school office. I enjoy helping people, answering phones while thinking on my feet, and getting to know the faculty and staff. I think one of the worst experiences would be dealing with difficult people. I know I'll have that anywhere I go, but learning to treat difficult people with love is a tough thing to do. I would like to see the facilities continue to improve. Many things have already improved, like the gym and football field. I'm excited for the future for my high school!
I loved the faculty and staff at this school! The teachers are super nice and very helpful whenever I’m struggling. I feel like I’m at home when I’m at this school and I’m able to make a lot of friends easily. I also love how I’m able to be present in chapel once a week so I can glorify God in all that I do. However, one thing that I would like to change about this school is the uniform. We aren’t allowed to wear our letter jackets in school at all, even in the winter. And we aren’t allowed to wear any Concordia related sweatshirts either. It makes it a bit difficult to learn when I don’t have a warm sweater to be in when it’s the winter time.
I appreciate the dedication that most teachers have towards their students. They care about them personally and wish to see them succeed. On the other hand, the administration does not always seem to have the best interest of the individual student in mind. They seem to deal with issues by shutting them down as quickly and cleanly as possible, instead of solving the problem or attacking it at its root.
