Concordia Academy has prepared both of my children very well for college. The rigors of 90 minute class periods, and "green/white" class days gets them used to college class schedules. Teachers are all very available for after, before and even during-school help. One teacher would actually eat lunch with my child to squeeze in extra time to help. Frequently teachers open class time with prayer, and genuinely care for their students. With college professors coming to the school to teach, instead of high-school students going to college, Concordia truly has a "college on campus" program that truly sets it apart from other schools. Vision-for-Life gives students the chance for real-world applications to show their faith in action. I can't say enough great things about Concordia!

I currently have 2 students at CA. One is a senior and one a junior. Both have had excellent experiences here!
There is a very strong sense of community here at CA. And my children both have real friendships that I believe will last a lifetime.
The pseo experience has been awesome for my senior. Having the college experience since her junior year while staying on campus was perfect fit for her!
Absolutely, love chapel and Vison 4 Life experiences, as well as Life Groups (mixture of fresh, soph, Jr. and Sr. small groups that meet regularly to connect.)
Overall, we've found CA to be a 5 star high school! If you are considering CA schedule a shadow experience where your child can come to school for a half day or whole day and shadow a current CA student to see what CA is all about!
I attended Concordia Academy for three years, Freshman through Junior year. My experience there varied by the year. Overall, they did a great job preparing students for college-level education. However, I would say they almost overprepared, as the workload was often too much to handle and left many students stressed and overworked. Students who were not planning on attending college also found that the environment was not as welcoming and helpful for them. The administration often ignored big problems and left wrongdoers unpunished, leaving certain harmful behaviors unchecked.
