Concord High School Reviews

I am a senior at Concord. I have gone to this school since kindergarten, and it has been an okay experience. The teachers are great, academics are pretty good, and everyone gets along. However, I am a music student, and Concord has very little care for the fine arts program. The program is not funded, and our instruments are falling apart. The band room is horrible, in fact, most all work that has been done in the music room had been done by students, rather than any of the handymen the school has. Also, the school itself is run down. There is no hot water in the bathrooms, there are cracks in the walls, and the school has a pest problem. We even had a ceiling fall on two students a couple of years ago. The ceiling has not been replaced since then.
I like how everyone knows each other and the teachers do as much as they can to help each student. i would however like to see more books in the library, and a more involved student council. i would also like to see more types of classes.
Absolutely horrible school. I attended here a few years ago and the entire high school was horrible. If you did not play basketball or you did not have the right last name you were bullied mercilessly. Most of the teachers do not care about their students. Even if you care about your classes and meet all the criteria for your assignments you will still be given a lower grade than a more popular student. The school has horrible facilities that are rarely used by students. School moral is high to the point that the students have superiority complexes. If you are looking for a school that will treat you with respect and will help you prepare for the future I do NOT recommend Concord High School.
Concord High School is enveloped in the middle of a small, but tight-knit community. Everyone is familiar with one another, and if accepted into the community you will have a highly supportive clique. However, diversity is observably absent, and groupthink is all but too common within the school. Different stances on issues aren't encouraged, and the school district doesn't have the resources it needs to bring improvements to these situations. I believe improvements can be made by campaigning for more funds, diversifying clubs and activities, and having a different change in authority checks with the faculty members.
I have been going to Concord High School my whole life and it is a school that is like having a big family, you love them all, but you do not really like all of them all the time. I would like the school to have more things to get students college ready.
The school system has a lot of individuals who truly care about the students, but overall the lack of funding really takes a hit on the quality of education offered by the school.
Not everything that I have need since graduating has been taught, but a lot of it has.
Most of the time everything is good. There are times when the popular students get away with stuff that other students could not.
The janitors keep the school clean and healthy. The entire place is clean.
Most of the teachers are great. They help the students whenever they can. They also get involved with other school things.
The basketball teams were supported by the entire community and not just the school. Everyone had fun at the games and our teams were really good. Our basketball boys even won the state championship last year.
some classes could be taught better
The food that is cooked could be a lot better quality.
The building could use some upgrades but its ok to me. The lockers are about the only thing its would be nice if we got new ones.
Most teacher are willing to be there for you when you need them.
Conocrd High School is a unique school in many ways. Not only does our school offer many diffrent educational classes and options to us but the teachers always make time for one on one with the studetns, whenever it is needed. The teachers will help you regardless of how sillly your question may be, and they will help you until you understand. If I had it to do all over again, I would pick this school because everyone loves everyone and it is a very loving enviorment.
The school facilities aren't all that great. The school building and the condition of the resources for students are not taken care of and are not all that accessable. The technology is limited to out of date appliances and the guidance counselor is not very helpful or competent.
