From my Kindergarten to 12th grade experience at Concord Christian Academy I watched it go through many ups and downs. There were years when it was growing and doing very well! But the last 3 years of high school were the worst for the school. The administration was confused and disoriented, academics were falling apart, and the rules were different almost every week. I will still always route for this school as I feel under new administration it is doing much better.
This is a great school! It was founded in faith and strives to create an environment where that faith is grown. Academics is strong, offering many duel credit classes taught by caring and experienced staff!
I have greatly benefited from the small class sizes and the family feel of Concord Christian Academy (CCA). The teachers are invested in my future and do not allow failure. They work with each learner with the goal being success and understanding.
I have completed dual credit courses during my junior and senior year at CCA. These advanced courses, taught by my teachers who are adjunct professors at NHTI, allow me to complete my high school coursework while also earning college level credit. I have had the opportunity to be a athlete and leader.
CCA has provide me experiences to serve others in my community and around the world. In April 2020, I am going on a service trip to Colombia with my peers.
To improve, CCA should expand its clubs for students who are not athletes. This would create opportunities for all students to connect, learn and grow in extracurricular activities geared to their interests and gifts.
