Concord Academy of Petoskey Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 17 reviews
Overall, it was a good experience. I think there could be better communication between the student body and administration when it comes to students trying to address issues they see. The arts and music is excellent. However, theater productions had to be rushed at times as students were called to other activities that took away focus.
I go to school here, i have for almost 3 years now, and it's not a bad school. There's a good environment, and everything can be very spontaneous sometimes but its an environment we all thrive in. There's some teacher student conflict but there is everywhere. Some problems need to be fixed, but they will be eventually. All schools have their own things, and concord is pretty much a family.
Concord Academy of Petoskey, a charter school usually overlooked by the locals, a hidden treasure. I came to Concord at the beginning of last school year and I'll tell you what, I will never regret leaving Petoskey High School. How many high school students can you tell you they look forward to helping little kids each day in their classrooms? How many can tell you their artwork gets shown in local shows and cafes and gets auctioned for charity events? How many can look you in the eye and say "I have friends for life here," because everyone at Concord can tell you that.
