The 6-8 is NOT a Montessori school just K-5. Don't believe me look into it, take a tour, the teachers are told not to do it the Montessori way. There is a real discipline problem, the students don't listen to the teachers and at times not even to the principles, due to the fact the teachers, are told not to write infractions by the principle, and have to just give lunch detention. The teachers do the best they can but are set up for failure. The 6-8 are also treated like elementary students.
About the principle, Janna Bennett, she is not even certified in any form of Montessori, had a chance to get 16yrs ago but never did follow up on it.

The School is great. The teachers try their best and make the most of what they have. The students for the most part are good too.
