I've been at Community of Peace Academy (CPA) my whole life (K-12, 13 years) and it was bad experiences. Staff members showed a lot of biased towards students and extracurricular activities. CPA depended the "popular" students for being the face of CPA, while they depended the highly academic students for the academic statistics at CPA. Another thing is I was in the badminton team for one year and it felt like CPA did not care for badminton at all. The reason for this is because they did not communicate with our coach, so our coach did not appear when it was badminton season for us. Academics are also horrible here, if you want your students to succeed in Academics, try another school. The thing that kept CPA from hitting a two stars, was the teachers. The teachers at CPA is the people I'd always remember, not the principles, the teachers I had in class because I felt like they were the only ones who cared about us students. They really supported us and motivated us. Ups to them.

What I like about Community of Peace Academy was I could tell the teachers actually cared about your education. Not only that, but they cared about how you were doing mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. I felt open to talk about how I felt with the teachers and they were accepting of who I was. What I would change is that they would challenge us a little more. Also, the food was not very good and needs a lot of improvement.
I have been to Community of Peace Academy since the first grade. CPA has been a great school to me because I have been many friends. This school is very involved with their students and always makes sure that you are doing your best. I like that this school is small because it makes me feel more like a family. I love being able to see the small children in the halls too. I definitely have a soft spot for this school.
