I went to CCS for ten years. I loved the one-on-one attention I got from my teachers because of the small classroom sizes. CCS opened many doors for me academically for my future. I graduated from Community Christian School as a sophomore in college because of the dual-enrollment opportunities. I got the chance to go on three mission trips to Jamaica. I earned thousands of community service hours through working for the football team, and I now have the chance to manage the Mercer University football team because of that experience. The only thing I would change is the administration. I believe that the new staff tried to force some things on the students. I understand there must be rules, but at times it felt more like a prison than it did high school. There wasn't much room for fun when the new administration came in.

Community Christian School was a great learning experience for the time that I had spent going there. The staff were friendly and very uplifting for me to finish off my first year there. I played football in the same year and had the most fun I could ever have on a team. One major concern for the future of community Christian school is the environment and how the kids act. However it is not that big of an issue when I went there but for others I cant answer. I needed help classes to get myself started and ended up taking it for the entire year. My second year of community Christian turned out even better for me as I now am starting to gain a firm foothold for how things worked, not needing the class anymore.
It is a diverse school setting that is focused on the wellbeing of the students. The counselor is doing an excellent job helping the students prepare for college. The teachers are wonderful! They make sure the students have materials needed for assignments.
