Community Christian Academy attempts something any Christian would want for their child. They strive to create a Godly environment that encourages growth in Christianity and in academics. In these aspects CCA succeeds. The staff and older students encourage godly behavior and the academic programs are effective at teaching students while at the same time making the work load more manageable. The main drawback to the school is that there is not much effort made to encourage the students who haven't accepted Christianity as their way of life. This is not exactly a problem for the school itself, just something I think should be made bigger priority to the faculty and staff. The school has amazing lunches and a unique sports program.
CCA is great for academics as the teachers encourage and push the students to go above and beyond their expectations. However, if you want to come here for sports, you might as well be content with never winning (except for the underrated sports like archery and swimming). Since there is a lot of parent involvement with the school, there is also a lot of politics that happen behind the scenes. The teachers obviously care about the students, but this doesn't make up for other areas that are lacking.
Fantastic school! Christ-like teachers with a big heart and great administration. An experience you will not get anywhere else!
