One of my best decisions ever was attending Communications High School. As a Freshman, I was exposed to many different opportunities that many students don't get till they are seniors. I learned many abode programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign. I traveled on multiple field trips to gardens and museums. I got to make award winning films, be published in newspapers, and construct my own TV show. The teachers prepared me for college work. They care so deeply for the needs of their students and will go to great lengths to see them achieve. I am so grateful for such an amazing experience!
Communications High School is an art school for the smartest creative minds in Monmouth County, NJ. It's just as challenging as it is engaging and the environment brings out the best in each student. Despite the cutthroat and tough academics, at CHS, students perform better in and out of the classroom. Club participation is practically standard and school spirit comes naturally. If admitted, definitely give CHS a chance.
CHS prepared me in monumental ways for the real world. I felt enabled to directly enter the workforce upon graduation. Academically, the school's one-of-a-kind curriculum challenged me in ways I did not know was possible. Artistically, I was motivated by my peers and the work quality they were producing. The school's diverse culture and engaging state-of-the-art technologies enabled me to feel comfortable in my school. It made me feel at home. I would recommend CHS to anyone in Monmouth County interested in the arts.
