Commonwealth-Parkville School Reviews
Rating 4.61 out of 5 23 reviews
Commonwealth-Parkville School has a small school environment where everyone knows other. Faculty, administration, and teachers are always there for the students and they encourage them to do their best and be themselves. Teachers truly care for their student's achievements in and outside of the classroom. Even though the school is small, there is a range of resources, opportunities, clubs, and activities that students can participate in. Clubs range from community service to the arts. In terms of academics, the classes are overall challenging. Students are offered AP courses in high school and a wide spectrum of electives covering various fields in art, music, dance, languages, physical education, technology, debate, and robotics. Commonwealth offers its students a great education, alongside opportunities that will enable them to become great leaders and advocates in the world, in whatever field or path it is that they decide to take after high school.
Caring teachers and faculty, would recommend to others definitely. High quality education and good environment.
Commonwealth-Parkville School makes its students feel like part of a family that pushes them to achieve academic success. The teachers’ open-mindedness fosters the ideal space for students to comfortably participate and ask questions during class discussions. Although the small student population makes it easier to form close friendships, it also leads to a lack of variety in the courses offered. I would like my school's administration to incorporate sex education, provide more funding for the Performing Arts Department, and give higher level language courses. Overall, my school deserves a four star rating because although there are some changes that need to be made, my professors have taught me how to be a critical thinker in every aspect of my life, from conducting a science experiment to analyzing a historical source.
