I have been going to Common Ground for four years now and overall it has been a good experience. The teachers try to make sure that you pass the classes no matter what by giving students resources after school or staying after school to help students personally. Common Ground gives opportunities for all students to take ap courses and courses at nearby colleges to help them get credits for college and get them ready for college. I believe that Common Ground can improve on the sports aspect of school being that there is only a basket ball team, the basket ball team is good but I would like to see more diversity for representation of sports for Common Ground.

Attending Common Ground has been an interesting experience. I have definitely learned a lot about myself as a person as well as the world around me. Common Ground preaches ideas of acceptance and voice, yet shoots down those who do not agree with the ideals of the school. On top of this, the academics of this school are below average. Teachers will give you thirty retries on assignments, will lower the passing grade for the class, and give infinite extra credit assignments to help students raise their grade. If you are looking for an easy A personified as a school, Common Ground is the place for you.
While the teachers are wonderful, the culture of community has slowly faded away since my freshman year. Granted there wasn't a super strong sense of community, the school was once much more connected. Because community is a selling point for Common Ground, something needs to change.
