The academics were pretty good and teachers were always willing to help! I never liked math, but Mrs. Kober was the absolute best, she would stay after school with me for an hour or more!
I would like to see a change in the schedule. Most schools have either 7 periods a day or even Friday off. If they kept an 8 period day, it would have been nice if they offered honors study halls and not full all 8 periods with some pointless classes.

At Columbus High School, we have very good teachers that love to help and care to see you graduate. I believe our school has many pros to it like the amount of electives and the amount of teachers and their degrees. The cons to my school are the bullying and harassing that goes on. I feel that some teachers don't take as much action. What needs to change are the size of hallways and the amount of people in classes. I think we need more desks and more experiences during senior year to look into your major and school to work day for your major.
I moved to Columbus High School during my junior year, because my previous high school wasn't really a great fit for me. To my surprise, it was the best move I've ever made. The teachers are all really understanding and always willing to help you out in any way they can. There is also a wide variety of classes to chose from. Because I am a "band kid," I took all of the band classes available, and was very chocked to see how great it was. The music teacher is one of a kind, and everyone in the band classes are there to learn and do their absolute best. The students respect teachers at Columbus High School, and this is key to having a successful learning environment.
