If it’s behavioral correction your looking for, it will open a teen’s eyes to The Lord and they will want to focus on whatever they can to get out of this place. The Humanity & communication is worse than a prison. This facility needs improvement in many ways. There is good intent and the consistency of both academics & church are great!

Our family will be forever grateful for the support that was offered while our daughter attended CGA. Although we were initially apprehensive, it was evident as the months unfolded that our daughter was in a safe, nurturing and faith filled environment. The students are kept engaged with a sound academic program, commitment to their church, community outreach projects, conferences and field trips. Academically, we noted a significant improvement in our daughter’s reading and writing ability and her understanding of mathematical concepts. She has met with significant success in these areas since returning home. The caring and committed staff make every effort to guide the students through their life controlling struggles. Our daughter's discerning counselor was a true God send! Above all, there is a higher purpose to this program. ALL staff encourage the students to have a personal relationship with God allowing them to discover the person that He intended them to be.
These girls stay very, very busy. Besides the academics that they are involved in daily, there are a number of community events and field trips that they attend. There are speakers that come in, and there are opportunities for the girls to meet the members of the community and to make a difference. There is rarely a time where the kids are bored! The girls learn responsibility and leadership skills in kitchen chores, cleaning skills, outdoor extracurricular games and activities and team-building events. In everything they do, God is at the center!
