I love this school! I love it because even when I had bad days, I never hated my school. Sure, I hated the work and the tests and everything, but I never hated Columbine. Whatever effort I put in, I got out. Even with the tragedy weighing on us, we didn’t waver. We turned a day of sadness into a day of service. We altered our attitudes and lifestyles to make our community whole again. The tragedy may have torn us apart at one time, but we have since put ourselves back together. We’re not perfect, far from it. But we’re thriving.

My experience at Columbine High School has been one of inspiration and hard work. The community around pushes you to your absolute best, you represent Columbine with everything you do! The teachers and students build close connections to motivate you to accomplish your goals, and the students are very friendly. They're no cliques at Columbine, everybody is friends and can rely on one another to help. The Columbine community is one big close-knit family, through thick and thin we have each others backs, academically and emotionally. The will to learn at Columbine is quite inspiring for any new student or parent to observe. The tradition of excellence and community has been carried on and reflected by the people who leave there. Columbine is my home and I wouldn't trade my high school experience there for anywhere in the world.
Columbine High School is a strong school community. We have each others' backs and the majority of teachers will go the extra mile to help you. Our principal and assistant principals care as well and are very much involved in the every day practices of our school. I am now a senior and have grown over this high school journey. Sure there are some uncomfortable moments as a freshman and such, but that makes it even sweeter as a senior. Our sports are strong, our Deca and Business Department is great as well. I have also enjoyed the dedicated and interesting History Department.
Our school assemblies and after prom are amazing!
