Columbine High School is a strong school community. We have each others' backs and the majority of teachers will go the extra mile to help you. Our principal and assistant principals care as well and are very much involved in the every day practices of our school. I am now a senior and have grown over this high school journey. Sure there are some uncomfortable moments as a freshman and such, but that makes it even sweeter as a senior. Our sports are strong, our Deca and Business Department is great as well. I have also enjoyed the dedicated and interesting History Department.
Our school assemblies and after prom are amazing!
Review Columbine High School
Columbine is such a unique high school in that they dealt with such a horrible tragedy in 1999. This incident brought the community together. I was only two when it happened. I know many of the teachers in the building were either students at that time and came back to teach at Columbine , or felt a deep connection to the school. I am so proud to have gone to such an amazing school. I participated in so many things that made my four years fly by. This is one of the safest school around, and yet normal. People watch out for each other on and off campus. Growing up , Friends would ask me where I was going to go to high school, as everyone open enrolls these days, I said Columbine of course! I always wanted to be a Rebel.
Columbine High School offers a variety of academics and extra curricular activities that give students a chance to pursue their own individual interests. From my own experience, the staff is very supportive and wants to help students grow to be better individuals. The block schedule gives more time for homework, though it can be hard for students to focus for the whole ninety minutes if they are not given a break. Though there is still clicks and clashes between students and Rebel days (all classes) are stressful, Columbine High School is a great school with people that actually want to help kids grow.
