From Columbia Independent School

Are you ready for a school that brings out the best in your child? At CIS, your child will be known, loved, challenged and supported on the journey to adulthood. You can have confidence that your son or daughter will receive individual attention in a small, safe environment, so they won't get lost in the shuffle. Our research-based curriculum and focus on critical thinking, executive functioning, and community service will prepare them for college and life beyond. Your child will learn other languages, beginning as early as Junior Kindergarten, and explore cultures around the world. They'll build skills in coding, 3-D design, circuitry, woodworking, robotics and more in our STEM maker space, called The Cube. They'll perform on stage, move their bodies in PE and at recess, learn an instrument, write in cursive, and cultivate a love of books. Perhaps most important of all, your child will learn to see herself as a citizen of the local community and the world.
