Columbia Falls High School Reviews
Rating 3.72 out of 5 93 reviews
My overall High School Experience at Columbia Falls High School has been positive. There is nothing extraordinary in any way about our little school: it is not the best, it is a small old school with a wide variety of teachers, staff, and administration. I have had a very mixed experience with some very high-achieving AP courses which have been difficult and have pushed me to be my best academically and in perseverance. On the other hand in more general classes I've experienced more easy-going and forgiving teachers who can go down to the level of students struggling. The best part of my experience at Columbia Falls High School has been the friendships made and the overall focus the faculty has on making the day-to-day enjoyable and new. Of course it can be mundane to go to class each day, but in many different clubs, extracurriculars, and various events that take place it has been a positive experience for learning, growth, and enjoyment.
My school is a prime example of a rural, small-town high school. The teachers are more than often friendly, and I and all of my friends are given creative freedom to be ourselves. While our classmates may have different opinions, my school ensures that everybody is accepted and is treated with kindness. Our school offers great programs, like ceramics, which, since taking the class, has developed into a love for the arts for me. Our sports programs are ever-expanding, which is very important to me. As a member of our student council, developing and making our school a better place for everybody is one of my top priorities. Columbia Falls High School allows me to do that. Some students can be less than pleasant, which is why I only gave our school 4/5 stars, but besides them, my school is a 5/5. I love the environment and how accepting it is.
The environment at CHFS was very welcoming everyone got along and there was also teachers and staff that were willing to go out of their way to help you. CFHS is a very small school so everyone knows everyone which makes it an even more friendly community. There are lots of different groups and organizations that work to make the school a better place and also work with the community, there is something that each person will find interesting which makes it a fun place to be.
