To start off, Columbia City High School is broken down into two separate buildings, there is the main campus, Columbia City High School, and there is the New Tech, Eagle Tech Academy. I go to Eagle Tech but will graduate from Columbia City High School. Now that, that is out of the way, I am a senior and have enjoyed my experience at both campuses. I traverse between the two depending on my classes. The physical aspect of both buildings are in pretty rough shape. The Main Campus could fall down anytime it seems. Eagle Tech's inside looks nice and all, but the bathroom's appliances are in very rough shape. Now, the teachers at both schools are great. Eagle Tech is apart of the New Tech Network, the school prepares its students for college or afterward. There are a lot of great things that Eagle Tech does, like project-based learning and presentations, instead of paperwork. I believe Eagle Tech has prepared me for college and I'll be a step or few ahead of my future college friends.

I attended Columbia City High School as a student at Eagle Tech Academy. This is a branch off of the traditional school. Instead of sitting listening to lectures all day, students at Eagle Tech were able to be hands on and use their creativity to create life sized projects and plan out events. Students were able to be themselves and develop relationships with their peers and facilitators. The facilitators were more than just teachers. They encouraged students to work through their struggles and think outside the box. I would recommend Eagle Tech Academy for anyone!
The teachers and staff are truly amazing and have each students best interest in mind! However, the facility is old and rundown, with flooding and sometimes broken air conditioning. Thank gosh we get a new school, but unfortunately it doesn't have a pool, even though our swim team is the best athletics team we have....
